Ram Leadership Team

If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen!

Exploding with fun!

The Ram Leadership Team is committed to improvement, education, success and challenges. It will give you lifelong talents and in the end you will walk away with the satisfaction that you have made a positive difference on the Colorado State University campus.

Who are the Ram Leaders?

Ram Leaders are first year students that are willing to work hard and be dedicated to the planned projects and events, as well as being an active voice that challenges others to improve. All areas of the leadership skills will be addressed as well as areas of diversity, change, communications, and much more. This group of students will work closely for and with the current members of ASCSU, YOUR student government. You will get out of this program what you are willing to give. The success of this group relies on every member!

What do the Ram Leaders do?

The specific direction Ram Leadership Team takes depends year to year. This year’s large events include:  I- Ball, The Involvement project, and the BRIDGE project. Other smaller projects can be expected throughout the year. In addition to this, Ram Leaders are required to have one office hour in the ASCSU office each week. Ram Leaders become more familiar with the office and other members of ASCSU. These hours help RLT members discover resources within ASCSU and also facilitate the Mentor/Mentee relationship. Mentors are members of ASCSU and help to facilitate a successful freshmen year in college, create lasting bonds, and promote early success with programming.  Lastly, Ram Leaders meet once a week on Thursday evenings to develop their leadership skills and attend one senate meeting a month. The Ram Leaders fulfill all of the above charges in addition to understanding that education is the reason for their attendance at Colorado State University and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.
