Winner of Quirky Contest Unveiled Feb. 4th at Colorado State University Bookstore

The quirky book Strange But True America, a finalist in the National Best Books 2009 Awards, has an equally quirky national contest inviting entrants to submit the strangest historical tale from their home state. With fifty state winners, and a national grand-prize winner, the contest wraps up with a Feb. 4th announcement of winners at Colorado State University Bookstore. The event begins in the bookstore at 5:30 PM.
In a related random drawing contest, three lucky customers of CSU’s Bookstore will receive a color caricature of themselves drawn by Dale Crawford. Crawford is the famed illustrator of Strange But True, America and thirty other books. Winners will request that Crawford draw them in the historic costume and/or setting of their choice.
Winners randomly selected will have their caricatures rendered on the spot on Feb. 4th. Entrants must be present to win. Further details can be found at http://www.strangetrueus.com/strange/contest.action.
