I requested used books, how much highlighting will my used book have?
Used textbooks may contain varied amounts of highlighting, notes, and cribbing. CSU Bookstore has no control over how much highlighting is or isn't acceptable to the customer.
I really, really want used books!
Reserving your textbooks early is the best way to get used books. Used books save you 25%! We buy used books back from students at the end of the previous semester, based on instructions from professors. Sometimes instructors don't provide this information, and we are unable to have used books for some classes. Other times a section will have a brand-new book, and no used will be available. These factors make the supply of used books variable. Textbook Reservation gets you a "place in line" for used books, and since we start to pick orders more than two weeks before class starts, you have the best chances.
Why do you need my e-mail address?
We use your e-mail address to confirm receipt of your order. Also, about two weeks before school starts we will send you a quick e-mail with a reminder of where and when to pick up your order once you return to campus. Read our full email policy for more details.
Are books returnable?
Absolutely! We understand that every penny counts when you're getting through school. If for any reason you need to return a textbook, simply bring it back in its original condition with your cash register receipt by Saturday, September 6th, 2008 for a refund. Keep your bookstore receipts! Exceptions apply to the following items, which are non-refundable:
- Seminar books and course packets
- Study Aids and Barcharts
- E-Books (once activated)
- Prepackaged kits (once opened)
Please see our return policy for full details.
