Apartment Life

Employment with Apartment Life affords the opportunity to build community, expand leadership skills, and develop cross-cultural competencies. These are skills that future employers value.

Apartment Life offers a variety of employment opportunities and over 30 positions are available each year. Some positions are live-in and other positions are hourly. All staff members receive extensive training and supervision.

Our annual selection process begins in January. Please read the following information about the selection process.

Position requirements and remuneration:

  • 10 - 20 hours per week with FLEXIBLE hours, with some nights and weekends
  • Live-in positions receive rent waivers (from 75% - 100%)
  • Live-in positions require eligibility to live in Apartment Life
  • Positions begin June 1st, and continue through May 31st the following year
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Hourly positions begin at $8.00 per hour and require student status

  • Attend one Information Session from January to February
  • Attend one Selection Workshop in February
  • Complete an on-line application and submit references by February 20, 2012.
  • Interviews will be offered to selected applicants in February and March
  • Positions will be offered in April

Additional Hiring:

We occasionally have additional hourly positions including Office Assistants and Grounds Keepers. We post open positions in Apartment Life publications.
