Academic Village - Engineering
The Academic Village, CSU's newest residence hall community, offers two living options in either the Engineering Residential Learning Community or the Honors Residential Learning Community. Each community has a building in the village that integrates classroom and experiential learning into the living area with programming space, seminar and meeting rooms, multi-media classrooms, faculty involvement, and more. The Academic Village is located on the site of the former Ellis Hall on the South side of campus close to academic classrooms and the intramural fields.
Engineering Residential Learning Community:
- 113 double rooms and 25 singles all with private bathrooms
- Electronic classroom and design studios located in the building
- Engineering courses taught on site
- Faculty residence on site
- AC in each room and wireless high-speed Internet throughout the building
- Dedicated network
- Dining options at the Academic Village Commons include a Mongolian Grill, Sizzling Salads, Tex Mex, Stone Hearth Pizza, Wraps & Deli Sandwiches, Carving Station, Express, Espresso Bar and Sports Grill. The Commons features outdoor seating as well as seating in the Sports Grill and the Ram's Horn..
- Commons building also features a mini convenience store, central mailboxes, and sunken lounges.
- The Engineering RLC at the Academic Village is reserved for first year students with a limited number of single rooms for returning students. Several engineering floors are also available in Allison Hall.

All Halls feature:
- 24 hour desk assistance
- 3 Levels of Security
- High speed Internet connections (one per resident)
- Wireless laptop connections in the dining centers
- One activated phone line per room with a second phone line available for a telecommunications fee. Long distance telephone service available.
- Lounges and/or study rooms. Lounges have TV’s and/or games like pool, foosball, and ping-pong.
- Kitchenette for resident use
- Laundry facilities
- Utilities included (cable, local phone, Internet, electricity, water, and recycling)
- Designated parking - students may obtain parking passes from Parking Services
- Academic and social programming opportunities
- Academic environment – students who live on campus tend to have higher GPAs than students who live off campus
- Supportive and involved Resident Assistants (RA’s) and Residence Directors
- Dedicated office, custodial, dining services, and maintenance staff
