Elderhostel
Elderhostel is an educational opportunity designed for the older adult. Learning for the fun of learning! Elderhostel is a non-profit organization based in Boston with sites nationwide and internationally. Each site offers programs specific to their location or specialty. Pingree Park is one of these Elderhostel sites.
Elderhostel is not a membership organization; there are no dues. The registering participant must be 55 years of age or older; an accompanying adult under 55 can register to allow spouses, companions, and adult children to experience Elderhostel as well. Participants come from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. What they have in common is their enthusiasm, interest in meeting new people, and desire to be physically and intellectually active.
