Sheri McKelfresh

Sheri McKelfresh teaches the Elementary Music Methods, student teacher seminar, and supervises student teachers. Sheri holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Colorado State University, and a master's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado,
Sheri retired from the Poudre School District in 2006, after teaching public school music for 31 years. While teaching at Beattie Elementary, she served the Colorado Music Educators Association as Chair for the General Music Council and made numerous appearances with her school choir at the CMEA Clinic/Conferences. Sheri is currently the Artistic Director for the Centennial Children’s Chorus, maintains a private voice studio, directs the Chancel Choir at our Saviour's Lutheran Church, and performs with the Larimer Chorale.
She is a co-author of the Music Memory curriculum for the Poudre School District and a co-founder of the PSD Elementary Honor Choir program. She holds a Level III Certificate in Orff-Schulwerk from Colorado State University, and Level I Certificate in Creative Artistry from Butler University.
