    Linda Shea

    DR. LINDA SHEA received her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder in 2008 and is now on faculty at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado.  Dr. Shea also holds the Music Director post for the Peakharmonic Youth Orchestra in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  She previously held conducting positions with the Repertory Orchestra of the CSYSA and the Cherry Creek High School Orchestra.  Guest conducting appearances include the Pikes Peak Philharmonic and the Broomfield Civic Orchestra. 

    As a clarinetist and bass clarinetist, Linda is a permanent member of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic and has also performed with the Colorado Symphony, Santa Fe Opera Orchestra, Boulder Philharmonic, Greeley Philharmonic, Cheyenne Symphony and the Fort Collins Symphony.  She holds a Master of Music degree in clarinet performance from the University of Northern Colorado, as well as a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music.
