New International Student Orientation

Orientation

Coming to a new country can be a frustrating and difficult experience, but with the right preparation it can be exciting and full of opportunities!

As you prepare for your journey, we invite you to join our Facebook group forum. This forum is for newly admitted international students to CSU. You can ask questions and exchange your thoughts with current international students at CSU, as well as members of the Fort Collins International Center.

You can also refer to our new students page and read the Globetrotter, a new international student's guide to CSU.

To assist you with the transition from your home country to CSU, the Office of International Programs requires that all new international students attend the MANDATORY International Student Orientation program, on Tuesday, January 12, and Wednesday, January 13, 12:00 - 5:00p.m. As a new international student, you must attend both days of these orientation sessions. Other sessions to aid you in your transition (shopping trips, campus tours, social gatherings, etc.) are offered throughout the week, but you can decide whether or not you want to participate in these events.
