NOTE: These programs are for those who have U.S. citizenship at the time of application. Permanent Resident status is not sufficient. Foreign Fulbright applicants must apply through the Fulbright Commission or Embassy of their country of passport. Colorado State University does not have information about those programs, however we can assist CSU faculty who wish to invite a foreign Fulbright scholar applicant to teach and do research at CSU.
U.S. Student Program
U.S. Student Fulbright Program information for 2010-2011 will be available on approximately May 1, 2009 by going to the Fulbright website: http://us.fulbrightonline.org/home.html

These programs are for those who have U.S. citizenship at the time of application. Permanent Resident status is not sufficient. (Note: Foreign Fulbright applicants must apply through the Fulbright Commission or Embassy of their country of passport. Colorado State University does not have information about those programs- please contact the U.S. Embassy in your home country for information. The application process is not the same.)
Applications for Fulbright from current CSU students are DUE to the CSU Office of International Education by close of day on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2009. Campus reviews will be held in late September and early October.
Graduate students should discuss their ideas with their faculty members, then contact Karen Gardenier or Martha Denney in International Education to determine the feasibility of their proposal and to ask for guidance. 491-5917.
Undergraduate applicants should begin discussing their application with Heather Esterday in the scholarships office 491-6742.
Non-students or alumni may apply directly as an at-large candidate by sending their application to IIE by the date listed in the materials for at-large applicants rather than working through CSU.
