Mission Statement
The goal of International Education is to assist Colorado State University students in gaining international competence and experience. This is accomplished through a wide variety of classroom-based and experiential programs, both on-campus and abroad.
The growing reality of our nation’s global and diverse economy, society and workforce has made International Education’s mission essential to the educational mandate of the institution, and to all students whether they study abroad or not.
International Education administers a variety of programs serving Colorado State University students, faculty and administrators. These include area studies programs in Latin America, Europe, Asia and in International Development Studies; International Education (IE) classes in international, interdisciplinary areas; international internship programs; the Peace Corps Masters International program for graduate studies; scholarship and grant programs such as Fulbright and NSEP; and grants that focus specifically on the enhancement of undergraduate and graduate education on campus.
