Rick gave updates on 2004 projects  -

Apartment data network for Aggie North will be completed by Spring Semester. Residence Hall Office & Support Areas, design process started and should be ready in approximately 30 – 60 days for Ingersoll.

HSC Warehouse unisex bathrooms will not receive any funds from Insurance.  Palmer Center Computer Training Room has been dropped off the list.  Jim has requested that Susie check into purchasing a mobile lab to be used anywhere.

Dining center atriums for Edwards and Ingersoll have been taken off list due to revaluating numbers for new housing project.   Will adjust existing dining hall meal times to work with additional students, do not know what this will look like.

Pat review – there was discussion of removing “timely – can it be completed in a judicious manner”.  It was agreed that this section should be deleted and focus should be need driven.

The cost of the enhancement still needs to be more than $5,000 but has a threshold not to exceed $500,000.

The past couple of years the dollar amounts have not been added to the final list, this would be good information to have, will be included this year.

There was discussion about the PDP (Physical Development Plan) list that is submitted to the VP’s office with some 30 items that are over $100,000, such as fire suppression and access control in all halls.   These items are R&R and capitol improvements; certain projects need to be put on this in order to be funded.

Ken informed the committee that he has taken on new duties since Megan Eddy from EHS will be leaving.  Will be working to place AED’s within each area on campus and may miss some future IPT meetings.

Area representatives stated how their process is going, reviewed the presenting dates to make sure everyone is on schedule.

Next meeting will be November 7th with Apartment Life and Pingree Park presenting their project list.
