The goal of the CSREES Water Quality Program is to protect and improve the quality of water resources throughout the United States and its territories through research, education and extension efforts. The CSREES Water Quality Program has identified eight national themes in which research, education, and extension projects are conducted. Each theme has an associated team of experts that will address their respective theme on the national scale, helping to focus the efforts of CSREES on water quality issues. Click on a national theme link on the left-hand side of this page to access the national CSREES page for a given theme.
