UNIVERSITY HONORS PROGRAM - ONLINE APPLICATION

Participation in the University Honors Program involves a separate application process, which should be done AFTER you apply for admission to the university. You apply for admission to CSU through the Admissions Office. Application to the Honors Program involves completing the on-line admission process, or submitting a paper copy of the UHP application form. You also need to submit a teacher recommendation and a copy of your most recent high school transcript directly to the Honors Program. Instructions for completing the on-line application to the University Honors Program.

• Locate your CSUID (CSU identification number). Your CSUID number was mailed to you by the Admissions Office. If you can’t find your CSUID number, please call Admissions at (970) 491-6909 and they will give it to you. (You will need to make the call yourself; Admissions will not release the CSUID number to anyone except the student).
• Click on the link below to begin a new application.
• If you would like to save your application so you can return to it later before you submit it, create a password and choose the “Save Application” button when you are ready to stop working on your application.
• You may only submit one application, so make sure all of your responses are complete and correct before final submission.
• When you have completed the application and are ready to submit it, click the “Submit Application” button.
• Be sure to have a teacher complete a recommendation for you. Your application is not complete until we have received both items (application and teacher recommendation).

Internet Requirements:

We recommend that you use Internet Explorer to save and submit your application.

If you have problems, make sure JavaScript is enabled. To enable Java in Internet Explorer, click on “Tools”, then “Internet Options”, select the "Security" tab, click on the "Custom Level..." button. Scroll down to scripting and "Enable Active Scripts". Remember to change this setting back after you have submitted your application.

The Honors Program is no longer accepting on-line Track 1 applications for Fall 2008.
